Our facility enjoys the best possible location and climate for algae production. To grow algae commercially, large amounts of land, sunshine, CO2, nutrients and water are needed. In this equation, water is the ingredient that is typically hardest to provide. Eldorado Biofuels is able to draw from the abundance of industrial waste water in the oil and gas fields of the Southwest. This water also contains some nutrients necessary for efficient algae growth. Besides developing an effective water preparation process, we have carefully selected and cultivated algae strains that thrive in this particular environment, and hence we can rely on a consistently efficient biofuel feedstock. Our high-quality, low-cost algae can be ordered and customized for many uses.
