Eldorado Biofuels is a leading company in the areas of industrial waste water treatment, algae cultivation and biofuel production. We integrate scientific research with process engineering to achieve effective commercial scale production of biofuel from algae.

Eldorado Biofuels is in the process of setting up a demonstration facility, which will showcase our model for treating industrial waste water, originating from the oil and gas fields in the Southwest.

Our unique water treatment solutions remove unwanted constituents while making it perfectly suitable for algae cultivation. Beside the water preparation we carefully select algae strains that thrive in this particular environment.

Technology - How does it Work?

Eldorado Biofuels in cooperation with a number of commercial partners and government agencies has developed leading technologies for the production of biofuel. Our main focus is to provide water treatment systems for the treatment of industrial waste water, originating from oil and gas production.

The physical and chemical properties of industrial waste water vary considerable depending on where the water was produced.

Major constituents of concern are salinity, oil and grease, inorganic and organic compounds. Custom solutions are necessary to solve this complex disposal problem.
